I studied my Degree in Biochemistry at the University of Granada (Spain). Currently I am conducting reseach in the LINE-1 field as a PhD student at GENYO (Granada, Spain) under the supervision of Dr. Jose Luis Garcia Perez with a FPU fellowship. I was working in Dr. John LaCava’s lab in the US for 9 month and since then we continued colaborating in close relation working as a part of his team. I find really interesting and stimulating the fields of LINE-1 and molecular biology, where I have the pleasure to work with the help of Dr. LaCava’s team.
I am currently studying the LINE-1 interactome in embryonal carcinoma cells to understand the regulation of LINE-1 in pluripotent-like cells.
